What is ADOC?
The ADOC started as the PhD students’ and postdoctoral researchers’ association of the IRISA/INRIA and the Matisse Doctoral School in Computer Science, Signal Processing and Electronics. As of 2012, is now associated only with PhD students and postdoctoral researchers of IRISA/INRIA. Founded on 15th October 1993, the ADOC is a non-profit organisation (Loi 1901). Our mission is to improve communication between PhD candidates, to inform them and to improve recognition of the PhD as a formation. In practice…?
In practice, our “sphere of influence” is limited to the IRISA. Our activities include several social events, the writing of a newcomer’s guide, presentations, information posters, sports… Everyone can propose a new activity or restore former propositions, it’s up to you to make this “legacy” alive…
